I got this salad spinner for a birthday gift and after the second use it split down the side! I was very disappointed with the poor quality! I recommend spending a little more to get a better product!

Bad design... The top and handle is designed poorly which makes the device difficult to spin. The collander inside is not rigid enough to support the device. The top finally began to strip and lose traction and the side split as well. Overall, it is a poor product.

this purchase is a replacement for the one we had. the bowl is thin and can brake if you aren't real careful. they work great for spinning fruit like blueberries to get them ready to freeze. we also spin corn on the cob before freezing.
