The ChefMaster commercial 2-1/2-gallon salad dryer has all the same features and approvals as the ChefMaster 5-gallon salad dryer. It will dry about 3 heads of lettuce at a time. This unit was developed for commercial applications that need a quality lettuce dryer but do not have the space for the 5-gallon unit. Both units are equipped with drainage hoses so that the water can be easily directed to the nearest drain.

We bought this item to help prepare salads in our deli for several locations. This product worked well. Salad was nice and dry when it finished. This of course produces a longer longivity for your lettuce. It would absolutely meet the needs of small time user in a very efficient manner. However, if you are preparing ALOT of lettuce on a daily basis you will probably be stepping up to an automated salad spinner like we did.
